![]() There is so much mindless humor, you might go boom. ![]() Not only does it have a female hero (okay so she’s really a robot), it’s also lots of fun with few complications. Perhaps pre-teens are so in touch with 3D games that 2D games seem brittle, or maybe it’s about taste. In any case, I personally recommend Mischief Makers to any gamer who can tolerate mostly-two-dimensional side-scrollers. I know I’m not supposed to make references to other reviews but I can’t help noticing that at least two 12-year-old gamers think this game is horrible. Many are kind of anime off the wall-ish, but there’s a lot of variety and it is definitely thrilling.I’d rather not spoil the greatness, so if you lov. These short boosts can do a lot to help you reach areas, ~hover, etc, but it takes awhile to master that with regular dashing and movement. You can move and dash around, and using the C buttons you can dash or perform a short boost in a cardinal direction. The basic premise is that you play a super android girl named Marina, whose creator got kidnapped by some bad guys who are presumably trying to take over this alien world. ![]() It has some memorable music, good level design, smooth and responsive controls (though it takes awhile to master them and get used to dashing around), memorable characters/universe, and just a ton of creative / unique interesting action moments.Let me break it down. Mischief Makers is one of the best N64 games out there. ![]()
